Movie Title Sequence for GIT 415: Advanced Digital Video Techniques. The fictitious movie is named "What Remains." It is the story of a young girl who lives on a farm and is kidnapped and murdered. Methods used in the project were color correcting and vignetting to achieve a consistent coldness and darkness of the images, which is even further chilled with a darker blue once the girl is no longer living. There are many other images in collages or shown for a split second to create a subliminal message. Every single image has a reason and is part of a detailed story. Subliminal images are also added at times when they are related to what is on screen. Images include search parties, the girl's POV from slants in an old building, mystery box, references to DNA, corpse-eating bugs, and a hay baler/raker which is a gruesome part of the story.
